I am currently on the lookout for the ultimate universal remote. I have too many remotes on my living room table so I'd love to streamline everything into one or two remotes. The problem is that I do not want to buy an overly expensive device. I'm thinking of getting my hands on a universal remote with learning capabilities (most of them have them now a days). This way, all I would need to do is set the device to learn the commands for the remotes that are not supported.  I could then borrow PS2 and Xbox 360 remotes and have the unit learn all of their functions.
