PSM Checks Out a Real PS3
A few lucky PlayStation Magazine editors got an opportunity to experience an actual PlayStation 3. The publication actually had quite a bit of positive feedback about the upcoming Sony console. The editors pointed out that the PS3 is actually pretty quiet and that the system itself is pretty heavy and that it's actually pretty hard to pick-up with one hand. It's also interesting to note that the boot time for the system is actually pretty reasonable (there's a video on the page showing the system booting up).
