Hopefully the departure of the Stamper brothers won't lead to the eventual downfall of Rare. Personally, I am a little disappointed that the five titles released under Microsoft didn't fare any better commercially. All of the games were very enjoyable. Currently "Viva Pinata" continues to be played on a regular basis at home. Since "Grabbed by the Ghoulies", "Kameo" and "Viva Pinata" were all new and original intellectual properties (IP), it makes you wonder whether or not Rare was a victim of the gaming industries fear of new IPs. Or perhaps the poor sales of these titles were the direct result of poor marketing?
