Rare Founders Depart MS Owned Studio

1up.com is reporting that Rare co-founders Chris and Tim Stamper left the Microsoft owned video game developer to pursue other opportunities. According to the article, the rumored sluggish sales for Rare's latest title, "Viva Pinata", had nothing to do with the departure. Since being acquired by Microsoft in 2002 the developer was responsible for five titles for the software giant, which includes "Grabbed by the Ghoulies", "Conker: Live & Reloaded" for the original Xbox along with "Perfect Dark Zero", "Kameo: Elements of Power" and "Viva Pinata" for the Xbox 360.
