I've been on a Nintendo Wii watch since last Friday. I've gone from store-to-store during a particular hour in hopes of scoring a Wii console. So far no luck, but today I was about 2 minutes away from securing one as the lady in front of me got the last console from a 12 unit shipment.
One thing I've noticed during this Wii watch is the quality of customer service at these stores. I've called some locations and have been treated with so much disrespect that it makes you wonder why these people are in the retail industry in the first place. In one instance I literally got hung up on soon after receiving the official "no" after I asked if they had received shipments of Nintendo Wii. What ever happened to being polite.
I am not going to point fingers at a particular retailer as I've notice all of them have had this disrespectful attitude. There's even one giant Canadian retailer that I'll probably never buy from again.
